A remarkably easy binge in under 7 hours, Dirty John, reported and hosted by Christopher Goffard from the L.A. Times, tells the story of Debra Newell who meets the seemingly perfect mate in John Meehan. What seemed to her like the fairy tale romance suddenly turns sour as she uncovers the true identity of the man she promised to love and cherish for the rest of her life, and what came next is the quick unfolding of escalating horrors.

Recommendation grade: B; Surprisingly an easier binge than other podcasts brought to mainstream attention and filled with juicy details we have come to enjoy from the genre. Although never managing to reach the prestige heights the likes of S-Town, Dirty John has been hailed as the best true crime podcast since Serial? [sic] (season 1) by NME.
Dirty John is the story of a maniac who wriggled into the lives of women and ruined them. You have to listen. Now.https://t.co/hpOFpmUeJE
